+ Marcelo Torres

Elected "Restaurateur of the Year" twice from Veja Magazine, Commentateur de Bordeaux, "CGentleman of cava” and “Gentleman of Porto”, Marcelo Torres is a brazilian businessman, carioca, who founded and manages the Group Bestfork Experience.

Graduated in law, the projects director of a well known worldwide enterprise made his first onslaught into the gastronomy world in 1993, by opening his first restaurant. In the meantime, changed his career to dedicate full time to his passion: restaurant designing and experience making.

His relationship with cookery was discover when still a child, by the side of his grandma, a baiana called Zozô. Since then, cook, gluttonous, curios and unquiet, Marcelo explores the world moved by discovering a variety of flavours and ideas.

Architeture is also a ancient love, that can clearly be seen in the environment, concept and autencity of his restaurants.

Alongside a team of over 600 contributors, Marcelo manages a everyday operation of his restaurants that welcome tens of thousands of peoples per month and deliver a exquisite experience. Thats whats makes Group BestFork Experience the most experienced entrepreneur of its segment and a reference in gastronomy and events.
